Getting the best result

Logos and text: a vector file (SVG, DXF, AI or PDF) gives the crispest edges. Send it with your quote even if you previewed a PNG.
Photos: engrave best on light woods, slate, black acrylic and anodized or coated metal. Pick high-contrast photos.
Cutting: the cut follows the outline of the dark parts of your image. Very thin parts can break or burn away.
