Quotes are handled by email. Send your file and a few details to hello@filetoform.com and we will get back to you with a quote and any questions.

What to include

  1. Service: 3D printing, laser engraving, laser cutting, or not sure.
  2. File: attach your file. We accept STL, 3MF, STEP and OBJ for 3D printing, and SVG, DXF, AI, PDF and PNG for laser work. No file yet? Send a sketch, photo or measurements instead.
  3. Material or finish: if you are not sure, describe what the part needs to do (indoor or outdoor, holds weight, fits another part, and so on).
  4. Quantity: how many you need.
  5. Size: overall dimensions, and the units you are using.
  6. Deadline: the date you need it by.
  7. Meetup or shipping: local meetup in the Austin area, or the US city and ZIP code to ship to. We do not ship internationally.

Email apps cannot attach files from a link, so attach your file in your email app after it opens. For large files, paste a share link (for example from Google Drive or Dropbox) instead.

What happens next

We review your file and details, ask about anything that is unclear, and reply with a quote. Nothing is made until you approve it. When the job is done, we meet up in the Austin area or ship it to you anywhere in the US.

We do not make illegal items.
